Grimreapyou 1/28/11 . chapter 1Hi, your storywriting is very nice and detailed. Rewriting heroes quest has been a dream of mine for many years. Along the way my dreams started to change, over time and technology I started to yearn for multiplayer heroes quest. I spent the next 10 years learning about game design, programming and graphics "3D" Unfortunatley not pixel art. Well more to the point, I've been working on making a multiplayer quest for glory series and not only do i have the perfect game engine, Me and a group of friends incorperated multiplayer into it. The delima is, Sierra has and will not ever completley abandon any of these games to my knowledge,So we started from scratch on the storyline, graphics, engine, everything. I've sucessfully completed the QFG3 style gui, item vendor, all in game actions and even multiplayer! However we are in the midst of learning 80-90's style pixel art so the graphics in the game are just placeholders. Well, finally to the true point. I think your a great writer and i was hopeing you might be intrested in perhaps helping to write for this game. I'll fill you in on the details if you are. You can see the game here . ?topic42705.0 "still beta mode with unfinished graphics and scripting." |
ParchmentRose 4/6/09 . chapter 1You wrote this at thirteen? Wow, I don't know many kids that age who would have the persistance to do that. Good on you! Really cool idea giving the hero a sidekick too; plus great idea giving Shameen and Shema a kid. :) I look forward to reading more from you! |
Black Lotus Flower 7/28/08 . chapter 1A Quest For Glory story... and it was written this year! It makes me happy that someone actually remembers those games! Quest For Glory is awesome beyond words, but nobody ever posts stories about it. (I guess a side effect of the series being discontinued a while ago.) Still, I enjoyed reading a story from this series posted semi recently. It makes me glad that I'm not the only one who appreaciates older computer games. |
