Whoa, this was one of the most original ideas in the DC fandom I've encountered. It was very good. The idea that Conan and Ai's real selves are just hanging around in limbo somewhere is very intriguing. I didn't quite get who the figure near the end was. I want to say Vermouth but I'm not quite sure...

It's great the way that you portray Kudo as slightly losing it while trying to open the door, and Miyano is - for once - totally IC. OOC Haibara = FAIL.

The way I see it, Miyano and Kudo seem unaware of their being Conan and Ai - which is quite odd bearing in mind that they ARE Conan and Ai ... *brain asplode*

WOW... Incredible. Is that where Shiho and Shinichi's souls are while Ai and Conan live in younger bodies? Or more like, the souls connected to their older bodies?
I think the woman should be Vermouth, due to the 'angel' part. And the fact that she never ages could be explained by the consommation of the antidote, and would thus explain her presence...

Or that's the way I see it ^^ Tell me if I'm wrong?

Well, about the writing, it was excellent as always, not confusing, just descriptive enough, and well... just right, really. *the fangirl is drooling*

One of the strangest fics I've reed, but also one of the best in many ways. The idea you created here is something quite unique for a DC fanfic, in fact, for any regular fanfic. It was hard for me to read (english isn't my first language) given the way the scene takes place and the actions of the characters, but hey, that's what I liked about it too, you made me concentrate on the story. About the ending, I'm not still very sure what to think about it, it can hold too many interpretations, but I made my owns and I'm satisfied with it.
Good fic, strange, but good.

Oh yeah, and I think it's Elena, not Helena. Vermouth knows Miyano's mom because she was hell Angel and she knew yukiko because they were good friends in NY before. Vermouth is indeed a BO member, she was wearning black.
