I sort of hope this doesn't happen in canon. But then I also hope it will because there are so many other ways Kishi could screw this up. Also, I think I cried a little bit. D:

Because if it ends like that, I just might stop watching. The whole friendship dynamics between Sasuke and Naruto is the whole point of Shippuuden.

Though I was shocked by the recent developments, I just as much liked how well it was done. Of course, this means a total lack of Sasuke/Naruto FRIENDSHIP. LIKE, AT ALL but the whole Sasuke living for Itachi and his love for him works. Even if it means going against that brother's ideals.

So I like this. Sad, truthful, resolute.

Ahh facking hell, nicely done, very emotional... I like the wee descriptions of the setting, adds to the desolate atmosphere. The manga disappointed me as well only in that it continued the Wayward Sasuke thread, which truly sucks balls.

You know, now I know why when I read that chapter, I felt rather empty. I'm mad that Sasuke is now really the enemy. I can't deal with it. First fic I've read dealing with this new problem, and you captured it perfectly. I'm with you, I'm disappointed too.

Wow really good. It does kinda seem like its going to end that way *cries* but I seriously hope it doesn't, love!

Well, while I hope Naruto's story doesn't end like that, there shall always be the solace of wish fufillment in fan fiction. But, in spite of all the effort you put into showing that, here at least, it won't be a happy ending, I can't help but wonder what happens afterward; Naruto _is_, after all, the number one most surprising ninja!

You know, that is how I felt about chapter 402.
Besides the fact that Sasuke seems to be wrapped aroud madara's finger (and is practically acting as his attack dog...), it does seem as if this might be the actually outcome of the whole series.
It seems as if chapter 402 is uprooting everything that was planted in the first 400 chapters. Now I don't even now what the theme is anymore...
