I like this! I notice in your profile you sort of apologize for not being "the best writer." That's either false modesty or you're selling yourself short. Your writing is very smooth, concise and clear. :)

I have to admit I'm having a really fun time mentally picturing twenty-something year old present-day Chiaki Kuriyama and fifty-something year old Daryl Hannah reprising these characters. And those relatively short chapters are deviously effective. They really sucker you in. It's almost impossible to finish one chapter without going ahead and immediately reading the next one. ;)
