Some really nice ideas here! Like it!

A very good drabble with emotion and no distracting flaws in the text itself. Although...the pilot clearly establishes that Sydney does not have a good relationship with her father. She's in the "dining room" after Danny proposes and Francie talks about how calling her Dad would only ruin her happy moment. Clearly not a sign of a good father daughter bond.

By the way, Jack sells plane parts, not plane tickets.

The last line sounds straight out of the X-Files, but otherwise very, very good Keep writing! SurferChick

Hey! To me, I think Sydney is a little too trusting. Or maybe it's just me. But I still like the fic. Brings out some very interesting points.
