I really like this. Very well written, and you've thought them out pretty well. I'd be excited to see some of these Ordeals, should you ever feel like writing them.

You're welcome for the reviews; I love to do them! Hooray for Isaac Blast; I was really ticked with him. I'd like me to get an account too, but I don't have an email, so it's kind of a moot point. However, I'm working on it!

These last two chapters (Greg and Aileen/Bridget) were good. I was slightly confused on who had Down Syndrome in Greg's family (Zach, right?), but other than that, I had only one issue: I'm not sure if it's a good idea to take the Oath to rebel, even if your parents/whatever are really not nice. But, hey, it's your world.

As to Aileen and Bridget, I am glad to see a twychild. The only one I can ever recall seeing (except for Aileen and Bridget) are Nguyet and Tuyet in Wizards at War. Bridget and Aileen already seem to be getting into the spirit of the twychild after the Voice makes itself evident to them; they're bouncing ideas and sentences right off one another. And while they felt kind of disjointed at the beginning of the story (the way they should be, since they're not at all alike), Bridget and Aileen already feel more like one entity by the time the story ends- and that one-entity-ness feeling is just like Nguyet's and Tuyet's in Wizards at War. So good job especially on this story! You certainly picked up on the essence of twychildren when you read Wizards at War; this story felt very twychild-ish.

Wow, this series is VERY impressive. Very emotionally evocative. It doesn't quite approach the power of reading DD's actual novels, but then, what does? ;)

I was most impressed with the second tale, but all of them have been moving and very much in keeping with the feel of the series. Keep up the lovely work! :)

P.S. - Have you read the feline Wizards books, too? If you like cats AT ALL, they're even better (in my opinion) than the Young Wizards! :)

Thanks for answering my questions. I really liked this chapter. The idea of twins who want to be friends but don't know how is a really good one. The nicknames are funny too :) Sorry I didn't review earlier- I didn't realize you'd updated until today. Keep up the good work!

Twins and twychilds. That's not something I usually think about in the YW Universe. Though I suppose it was only a matter of time before the fickle muse pushed your hand in it's direction.

you mentioned the ninth young wizards book before the chapter. has that been published yet? i can't figure out if it has or not, or when it will be.

good chapter!! having a sign-language version of the speech is a cool idea, but it makes sense. if it's the language of life, then everyone should be able to speak it. "Don’t worry, she said. They’ll learn. “Thanks,” Jenna said." i thought jenna couldn't speak.

i liked this chapter, but i think the other wizards should have explained what was happening, rather than pressuring her to take an oath she doesn't understand. what if she dies on ordeal because she didn't know what she was getting into?

will reminds me a bit of darryl. both of them had problems, and took the oath anyway. will and merry/miriam would be partners, right? i hope she can convince him to stop avoiding her. will's parents and teachers sound like jerks.

i really like this story!! kara's a really believable character. i think kara tends to believe/see the worst in people, and i hope wizardry changes that about her. i'm glad chris and rachel are wizards too. i liked how kara helped jordan. keep up the good work!!
