Truth is, when I was writing this, I was sort of remembering how I felt when I got to that part of the game. I had no idea he would do that, and it was a total shock.

I'm just glad it turned out well. I was excited about getting an idea for a fanfic that wasn't Kingdom Hearts. Especially because the Baten Kaitos games are some of my absolute favorites.

abuseAw... yeah... this reminds me of my first playthrough of Baten Kaitos. :/ I was shattered, too. I had no idea he was going to do what he did...

So, yeah, this is a nice representation of what the Spirit might think. And it flows well, too. The only thing is, I don't know if Kalas was starting to love Xelha before he betrayed everyone. I think that came after she saved him... heh.

My favorite line was: "I always knew you were selfish."
