I was looking yaoi related to FF and I thought Zack&Cloud are a good pairing, and, being the first story I read... yours it's really lovely!
I think it capture's Cloud's naive-ness when he first entered the army. In any case, I totally loved your story!

Aw! That was so cute and swet! Well I personally don't go for such direct kissage, but up to then this story had me repeatedly getting teary eyes. Zack's wish to protect Cloud's innocence was so beautiful and Cloud's so cute in that very innocence. Wonderful fic! I give you my Anime Smile of Approval(tm)! *_*

I think that was a nice story about Zack and Cloud. There aren't many stories that include him

without turning him gay (even though kissing Cloud

I also like how you described Cloud as a child-like character as he sees snow for the first time in a while. In FF7, Cloud is serious most of the time and doesn't smile much. As for Zack, a lot of his traits are picked up by Cloud later on.

There's only one part about FF7 that I never figured out: How much older is Zack than Cloud?

I REALLY like a LOT! But... you need to work on a little punctuation and word usage... A little confusing, like the never having kids comment, I didn't know who was speaking, but very good story!
