I believe that in generations past it did not matter if relatives used the same names. As a matter of fact even in my mother-in-laws generation she and her sister both named their daughters Diane. My mother and her best friend named a number of children the same. Both had Williams and both had Patricias. I am not sure when it became bad form to use the same name.

This was beautifully written and extremely sweet! I loved Mr. Knightley and Emma's interaction with each other, and I felt like this could easily be inserted into the novel. I believe you'd captured Miss Austen's language and way of writing quite nicely. Great job.
