wow. That was well done. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and stuck with it through a straight 25 chapters. I really liked the whole time travel thing as well as the Shiar connection b/t Lilandra and Charles. Well done indeed.

i love the crap out of this fic + sequels and the betrayal fics. read em off of somewhere else. didn't remember. i had a craving for this fic and the betrayal fics so i googled "pumpkin seeds" along rogue and gambit searched up different combination and even tried looking up "lighter bones" or "lighter skeletal structure" but they didn't work (spent hours on this strand of search). but then i googled iceman and "yellow dress" and gambit, and wham! lead me here. now i shall read. love your writing but that is obvious by the dedication in searching for your fics.

Yours is the kind of story that deserves a following and the type of writing that deserves awards and accolades. I don't know why you haven't been showered awash with hundreds of reviews. You should be. Your story, I believe, is the measuring stick for this fandom, in terms of intricacy and excellency, characterization and theme.

You managed to capture all the poignant triumph and bitterness, the give and take of life, and you do it so eloquently. Thank you for one amazing read.

I went into this story thinking that it would be Romy centered. It wasn't what I expected. This was more about Gambit and his serch for acceptance and I think I liked it better that way. It's so bittersweet and ultimately upsetting that he will cease to exist at some point but nothing less would have made him feel free again. I loved it! I thought the plot was well thought out and the payoff was amazing. Very well done.

Maybe I'll be more coherent later, but I'm just floored by this story.

so I'm not done with this chapter yet but I had to get it out. It never fails to amaze me that the comic books ignore the power inhibitors for Rogue's particular problem. Its one of those glaringly obvious answers and yet she fails to ever take advantage of it. Ridiculous...no instead let's have sex therapy with Emma Frost, so much easier;) She really is her own worst enemy but maybe thats what I love about her. Maybe thats what I love about Gambit to. They seem so much more realistic then other characters because of that flaw.
Still loving the story. I hate that my real life is getting in the way of finishing it quickly. I love the idea of Remy actually having a real job...I'm thinking stripper but that's just me;)

this is the most interesting story I have read in a long time, plot wise anyway. I can't wait to go on to each chapter, the suspense is killing me and I really want to read some of the reviews so that I can get a hint about what will happen, but that would be cheating. I love The Witness, he was poorly handled in the comics and I appreciate your take on him. Very good storytelling!

Just in case that I never have done it - or not often enough - I love this story.
I like this complex build up of it. I had a hard time to follow this story the first reading it but I loved it never the less. I've re-read it since then a few times and even made a friend read it who has no interesst in the X-Men and she enjoyed it.
Anyway I am just simple and plain happy :)

I finally finished reading the story and I have to say that one of my favorite lines is when Storm tells Forge "Thank you" "For being his friend when I could not." The whole bit with Storm getting upset and Remy telling her to make the sun come out, bitter sweet it made me tear up. Excellent job.

I'm only on chapter 13 so far, but I'm thoroughly enjoying this story. Excellent job.
