Reviews for Manifest Cupid de Locke
Rasielle 6/12/08 . chapter 1
This entire thing was a piece of poetry: all figurative language, beautiful, confusing, as chaotic as Haruhi. *head is spinning!* I don't listen to the Smashing Pumpkins, so I only caught about two song references - but that's not the point! I loved it! It didn't occur to me until I reached "When did I become a believer" that this was actually through Kyon's perspective - and how weird, considering the way he usually narrates. It makes sense, though, because I'm pretty sure that he views her like this, much more romantically than the rest, if less eloquently. She's written like a goddess.

I went through a massive Smashing Pumpkins phase a while back. That was fun. I do love the musical and lyrical tone for all of this.

Completely lovely all the way through! I especially like the end, it just really fits, you know? Wonderful job, I really enjoyed reading

First things first: I absolutely love your style!

Secondly, I absolutely love your word choice.

Pretty much ever aspect of this is gorgeous, and so dream-like that I feel slightly dazed. That's a lingering effect, I think.

Good work!
