Ah, after days of searching, I finally stumble on a well-written, in-character, COMPLETE MacStella fic! Thank you for writing something as beautiful as this. I feel like the past few days have been like searching through decomp and then I find a diamond! (Okay, maybe it's not as bad or as weird as all that, but you get the idea, I hope.)

In any case, I think I'll see if you've got any other MacStella fics and then see if you've got any favorites of your own. It's about the only way I can trust to find something halfway decent on the site.

Regardless, keep up the excellent work!

I don't know if I've said this before, but you're my favourite CSI NY and Mac/Stella author. This fic only strengthens that. Very nicely done!! ;)

And the bits of humor, the first thing that had me grin was 'What-? No.', then when he realizes that he IS doing what he always wanted to, 'the hundred and first time', and how he wouldn't tell Flack in the same way.
Also loved that he finally tells her what his fear had been.

Hehe, loved the part about the food. Also how when she told him about Drew she was the one who could not look at him. And how Mac picks up on the words she had used to eventually 'ask' her and she knows right away what he means :).
And still so in character, I think the guys from the show should hire you to give us those wonderful SMacked moments :)

Wow! I'm impressed. I can so see those to be Mac's thoughts and reactions. Stella is also pictured perfectly, and the dialogue... I can hear their voices here.
I can imagine Mac even trying to convince himself that he's fine. Also really liked the part where he remembers. The part about being hard-headed was lovely :)
