Well, I have to admit that I love -your- Murtagh. Somehow he's got something the others don't, I don't know exactly what, but I like it.
As for that Galbatorix/Eragon pairing... hm, nah. I really don't like it, because... well, because. But that shouldn't matter to you, it's just my opinion and not a flame. However, it sounds a bit strange in terms of plot. A bad guy is a bad guy, not entirely evil, as Paolini portrays him, but not a good person either - and your Galbatorix sounded like a misunderstood good old man. That was a dictator at the same time. Which is a bit of a paradox, but oh well.
BUT! the fact is, despite the not so good things I said - I like this story. And the proof is that I'm reviewing it and I'll be anxiously waiting for the next chappy! Please hurry up!
