I clicked on this by accident and I'm really glad I did.

You encapsulated Poirot's language and way with words perfectly, his mannerisms and his appearance.

I also like the slight twist of Dumbledore and Poirot- most interesting. Also, Severus is quite nicely psychologically picked apart.

Congratulations on a great oneshot.

And of course Snape receives the worst of it. The most scary thing he probably ever said to Lily was trying to tell her the truth, which she already knows--that James and the Marauders are a pack of lying bullies.

But Poirot isn't interested. Nobody is. Dumbledore already knows, but what does he care?

And you get five extra points for use of 'little grey cells'.
