Ah, I love these two. I think Martha would have been pretty good at fencing if Lionel had ever offered to teach her. They've certainly got the verbal parrying down to an art.

Okay, so I know that I just left a review on the other fine piece of fanfic work, but this one is just as good. You just have this way of writing that fills in the gaps that the show left unsaid. Like the way that he pretended to be blind just so that he could work with Martha. Brilliant. Can't wait for another story!

And she drops the bomb at the end! Great story I always wondered how Lionel would have taken her resignation.

great story...wonderfully written and told in such vivid detail--you could really picture the scene in ur mind...I've always loved the repoire between Martha and Lionel and you really captured the essence of both characters
