Hmm, I'm the only one who thought it was Emily and Paul right?
But then again, the narroration confused me a bit. I really loved the story though. Especially how everyone kept thinking that Derek nd Casey were together.

As for the narrorations... Emily is the only person I can think of that learned almost everthing about both Derek and Casey, not to mention that she loves to shop, is close friends with Casey and will supossedly hook up with Emily at the end of season 4 (or something).

As for Paul... I just think he liked Casey more than Derek at times. No real reason to assume it was him.

I liked the approach that you took with the prompt, it was quite clever. Nice job.

Absolutely brilliant. A really interesting story. In my mind, the girl was Sally. Different school than Derek & Casey and a year older than them. However, the guy is a puzzle to me . . . The most likely choice in my mind is Max. Went to the same school as Derek & Casey; should have been "over his denial" by the time of the story (dated Casey at some point?); was not Casey's boyfriend at the time of the visit to his fiance's school (not Noel); doesn't like Derek that much (not Sam) . . . But then, he says that she knows Casey better then he does . . . In any case, I really liked your decision not to clarify who the narrators were it at the end. It makes it all the more interesting.

I've actually always wanted to do something college visit related. Then, I decided I would rather read somebody else's story about it. I hadn't found a really good one until now. Of course, I always love the third person narration, and the observations of others. 'Tis a favorite thing of mine, to be quite honest.

Derek and Casey are SO the type to do things that unintentionally brought them closer. They're so goddamn oblivious *shakes head*

Anyway, this was great! And I find it really cool that the narrator comes off familiar, but not quite, to the reader. Well, at least it did to me. Very nicely done, December... once again :)

Wow, this was fantastic! It was fun trying to guess who the narrators are (Sally and Sam? Kendra and Ralph? Hmm), and I really like how you used the college visiting as them looking through the scrapbook. So worth the wait!

i really really liked this story...except for the end. i understand that the reader can pick the characters but i feel that by doing that your story is lacking something. i feel like you need a character in mind for the woman and her finacee because then all the facts would make sence. like her being a girlfriend or the guy not liking or knowing derek or casey. these facts limit who the woman/fiancee could be anyway. it would have been better if you could confirm who you had in mind, just my opinion. other than that you did a great job setting up the plot and had wonderful structure. great job!

Umm... let's see, the chick was Derek's ex ... but she has to be from a diffrent school. SallY! then, the guy has to be someone that Sally would date... but he has to be someone Derk likes... so maybe... Sam?
