Wow, that was just insanely good. It was so well-written and introspective and amazing. I loved it beyond words. Especially all of the parts analyzing Sasori and Deidara's relationship, as well as Itachi. The ending was astounding, and I really, really loved it.

You're such an amazing writer, and I can't get over how utterly brillant this story is, epspecially since everything is just so deep. I love the way you portray Deidara, it's so realistic and perfect, right down into his true character. Amazing! XD

Confusing. Disconcerting. Intriguing. This fic is hard to grip, it drifts like mist and Deidara's struggle and delirium becomes my own. Nicely done. As always the prose is evocative, as is the rendition of the characters - or rather your take on Deidara and his perception of Sasori and Itachi.

I envy you your ability to write, and write beautifully without it become merely descriptive nonsense or purple prose - I suspect your secret might lie in the mixed-in crudities and imperfections, not everything is beautiful in your writing.

And lastly, much love for the title - afterdamp's an interesting word, and one I was not familiar with before.

I really enjoyed reading this. I found it a little hard to follow at times (Though that may be my own stupidity) but that didn't detract from how well written it was!
