wow. this is incredible. just wow. you write tony and rhodey so well, I have never come across one single other person who gets their characters as perfectly as you do. it's writers like you that make fan fiction worthwhile. :)

Once again, I love seeing the way you've tied the gap in the scenes together - how we see the wheelchair, why Tony doesn't want to use it, etc.

I love the pilot, by the way - "If it helps any, I raided my son’s room before we flew over here. There’s a PSP, an iPod, and a beat up laptop loaded with God knows what that he can play with once we’re in the air." Aww... :3

Also, I love how Tony's first instinct is to take the things apart. XD

And the whole "I know you"/"Do you?" conversation... Very well done. :3

I have got to say, this is one of the most in-character movieverse Iron Man fics that I've run accross. XD I love your Tony - you've really managed to deal with some of the trauma he must be experiencing realistically. I loved the little moment where he was automatically putting his hands on his head when he thought someone was coming through the door. Also, I loved reading quite a few of the lines between him and Rhodes - especially that one about how he made "the bigger stick", and the whole discussion with the robot cat and mouse. XD I can totally see Tony making those when bored... and drunk.

So please, update again soon! This fic is awesome! :D Rock on!

Yeah an update! I love it so much. This story rocks.

My first review for this story - should've done one earlier, since I've been reading it all the time - lazy me :( I was so happy to see an update, because I really love this one. Such wonderful looks into both Tony and Rhodey's heads, and their friendship (relationship?) is so sweet. :) Things I particularly loved in this chapter: the whole scene where Tony's in the bathroom, how he thinks he doesn't know who he is anymore - I never even thought about that, but he sure must've felt that way. And favorite line: “Nope, flushed myself down the toilet. You better send out another search party.” Lol :D

Jez, someone give Tony a hug,like NOW. This is the third Angsty!Tony fc I've read. He dies in one, almost commits suicide in another, and is all miserable in this. We need some serious Happy for the man. Oh Crap, just realised that could be taken another way Lol.
