I just typed up a nice long review...And my internet cut out, and I lost it! Suffice to say that I love it muchly, and I am incredibly ashamed of myself for not reviewing it before. *hangs head*

OH! And I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, etc., etc., want to read Yassen's POV on this! :D

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. The first-person/second-person thing you had going was amazing. The gradual approach to thing was great, and the way they had a 'real' relationship, talking to each other and everything, and enjoying more than just the sex.

I don't know why, but the way Yassen approached John by spoiling those books for him was great. Also added more intensity and weight to the end when John sort of 'returned the favor' and the way their roles ended up being a little reversed in the end was just plain awesome, not to mention that their last time being the first time they ever really did a 'morning after' type thing, and "cuddled" and all that. Yassen not being surprised by his old mentor returning from the dead was *nice*

"One kiss that defined our relationship. It ended too soon." One of the most perfect lines written for any fanfic I have ever read, swear to god.

The way John willingly went on the plane when he knew he would die in order to protect Yassen was great.

Overall, you are an -extremely- talented writer and fanfic author, and I actually really hope you DO write that second chapter with Yassen's POV. I just know it'd be a great read.

:) I liked it a lot. If you make it into a two-shot, do you intend to make the second instalment from Yassen's perspective?

Anyway, good job I really enjoyed it :D

I normally don't like to read Alex Rider fics, but this was great. Simple and sad, not too much slash (the most important). It hooked me at once, it was so fluent :D
your picture of Yassen is interesting and from unusual POV (at least for me :D) I can't say anything else, I'm still shocked after reading it
I would advise you not to write another chapter at Yassen's POV... or then you have to be very careful with Yassen's character

it's just so sad to see john die so often...i mean there was one chapter about him in the books but he is nonetheless one of my favourite characters...

*sigh*
and then of course you just have to be so good at writing...and sad stories too...

Good and well written along with it being easy to sypmathise with John. Good work, it is one of the BEST slash fics I have ever read, and espescially with such a difficult pairing. =) Good work!

PS~ I think I'd leave it as a one shot, at least for now. Maybe in a while do a seperate one shot, but don't add it to this one. It'd be good to read thier points of view seperately.
