LuminationPresenter 2009-06-06 . chapter 9This was delightfully horrible, please keep writing! |
elethian 2008-07-30 . chapter 9Creative idea! Good job on the "in-universe" text. |
Leanna de Weisdorn 2008-07-27 . chapter 9The only thing I can say is: WOW
Good |
chibikuroneko 2008-07-15 . chapter 7This line confused me: The boy died in his sleep one night, and Loxias and Loxias fled, the Wand of Destiny and Loxias’ wand in tow.
Otherwise a very interesting twist to throw in familiar family names. Did you create this lineage of people involved in Horcruxes yourself, or has there been hints out in this wide world as to family involvement? (Besides the obvious ones mention by Rowling such as the Pervelles). Very creative Sir, very creative all the same. Interesting twists thrown in all over the place. |
chibikuroneko 2008-07-15 . chapter 6My, my, this is certainly dark dark business. Never really considered how far one would have to go for this immortality before. This text book version of this certainly points that out in subtle ways. Although, I couldn't help but thing "My precious" at the humans guarding the objects part. (The One ring... yeah could be called a horcrux couldn't it? What an interesting thought.. lol) |
chibikuroneko 2008-07-15 . chapter 4You're theory of this is more precise, lol. You have done you're research though. Perhaps we can talk later about these Egyptian myths you mentioned in the beginning. (You can surely take a presumptuous guess as to who I am, and I'm glad to say I'm finally getting around to read it!) |
excessivelyperky 2008-07-08 . chapter 9I personally feel that a quiet drop into the Marianas Trench would be just the thing for any Horcrux of my creation, should I ever be foolish enough to attempt it, and evil/skilled enough to succeed. But no...so many people have to show off. Sigh. |
excessivelyperky 2008-07-05 . chapter 8Ah, gotta love the spirit of scientific inquiry! Lovely couple...in the Borgia sense. |
excessivelyperky 2008-07-05 . chapter 7Very interesting--you know, a more active Horcrux in Harry's scar would explain a lot of his behavior after the fourth year. And exposure to it would change the Gryffindors closest to him, i.e., Ron and Hermione. What excuse Dumbledore has for tolerating it is another story . Unless, of course, Dumbledore actually had the wrong wand and was being exposed to a Horcrux all along. |
excessivelyperky 2008-07-04 . chapter 6Before DH, there was speculation on alt.fan.potter that the potion that Dumbledore drank was _itself_ a Horcrux, and that the Headmaster's death was necessary before it could possess him fully. However, wearing the Horcrux (which would explain some of Umbridge's behavior while it was in her possession) is just right stupid--clearly, none of the Trio ever read _Lord of the Rings_, sigh. |
 stella8h8chang 2008-07-03 . chapter 1Refreshingly original. And the style is superb. |
excessivelyperky 2008-07-03 . chapter 5That's neat information about a Dementor, which makes the one that the Ministry sent against Harry rather interesting. Voldemort may not have cared for the limitations of his new body after the end of GoF, and decided to clear a bit of rubbish out before moving into Harry's. Just a thought. |
excessivelyperky 2008-07-01 . chapter 4Ah, moral strength! Notice it was the only two wizards to ever feel remorse in canon (Snape and Regulus Black) who died horribly and alone, while those who didn't (cough Malfoys cough) prospered like the green bay tree. Makes you wonder how Rowling _really_ feels about remorse, doesn't it? |
 excessivelyperky 2008-06-29 . chapter 3'Moral flexibility'--nice phrase, that... |
excessivelyperky 2008-06-29 . chapter 2Nods. Interesting information--though I have a theory about Dementors being only storage for souls, not devourers (or why they're always hungry). |
