Ohh, I felt really bad for Neku, and I still do after reading the story. ;~;

Wow, you did a really nice job on this story! The characters were really well written. It's also a pleasant difference from all the other stories I've been reading. I haven't read one in the present form style in a long while now.

I enjoyed reading the interaction between Neku and Joshua. Like how Neku was first in shock because of what was happening. Then he got angry. Soon he broke down and ended up being comforted by the very person who caused the anguish. I suppose that was when Neku finally - though ever so slowly - accepted that perhaps he doesn't hate Joshua as much. Sigh, I really enjoyed reading the development. The ending was done so well too.

Aww, Shiki was willing to do anything to bring Neku back. Friends are great eh Neku? =) So I'm guessing Beat and Rhyme were oblivious to it all.

You know, I've never really given much thought as to what Neku's entry fee was for the duel. Now that I think about it...the game never really said anything right? And what happened to those 7 days afterwards? Uh, anyway, I thought his freedom was a suitable price.

Yay to JoshuaxNeku goodness =) Honestly, when I first play TWEWY and saw Joshua with Neku, I couldn't shake the idea what a great couple they would make. Glad to know there's other people like me xD I managed to convert my friend to liking the pairing too. Well, I suppose Another Day helped greatly =) Blue and Pink!

Such a nice one-shot! I love how you describe everything, including the emotions both characters feel which, now I think about it, doesn't happen too often.

You have actually written a Joshua/Neku fanfic that doesn't completely disgust me. I applaud you. (Seriously, they're usually SO out of character... Here, Josh was still a Magnificent Bastard, and Neku still prioritises his friends in the wake of the ending...at least at first.)
