Talking into a recorder.. hehe, your 14-year old L reminds me with SWAT or something. Furthermore, you portrayed the characters well... Light with his clever act even when he was young, the nicely typical happy Sayu and our bored L himself... I wonder why people consider him as a pervert though? But to be honest, I can't really imagine how could Watari leave the social-inexperienced L alone in another country with so little amount of money and no protection at all. From the series I gained perceptions that Watari will give L everything he needs. So... Ah well. That's what you call a fanfiction. Good work, and make more of these :D

I can just imagine L sulking on the couch after another unsuccessful Sayu-glomp, knees pulled up tightly under his chest with one arm slung around his knees and the other holding the recorder up to his mouth, dark foreboding expression of d00m included. XD Priceless. And, of course, Light is in the background plotting his ebil antics while coaching Sayu. ("No, no, the long, then short. Long, then short, Sayu. Oh, it's alright, just try it again next to the one you messed up.")

It was surprisingly in character...I've always wondered what Light would have been like as a little kid. Now I have my answer. Lol. And I love how you made it that L was talking into a voice recorder; it was a very cool, funny, and readable format. And wow...1994. That's the year I was born. What a weird feeling...:) Thanks for the great fic.
Kelayoh 2008-06-18 ch 1,	abuse:D Oh my word, this is so adorable! I should've read it sooner. Heehee, why is the image of Teenage!L babysitting Child!Light just pretty much the cutest thing ever?? I dunno, but it is! Almost as cute as him having the mom lustings for Mrs. Yagami...bwahaha. Best part by far: L musing that Mrs. Yagami may think he's a prostitute... and then immediately deciding to go along with it anyway. XD A close second is L referring to Light as a "child specimen". I really like how you're doing the format, too. Makes things more interesting, really creative 'n' such. Kinda reminds me of a play I read in English, "Krapp's Last Tape"... only, like, this is a zillion times more entertaining than that, and doesn't make me want to stick my head in a toaster oven. 0.o Also I'm rather intrigued to see just how on earth you're going to turn this into an L/Light story, as you hinted in your author's note. Future smex with the old babysitter?? Lol. How.. kinky... :P Anyway! Good job, it's awesome so far!

It's a real breath of fresh air and I love the way Ryuzaki is recording everything. When Sayu stole the recorder I couldn't suppress my laughter. Picturing her telling him that he smelled of poo is ...wow... hysterical to say the least because one would think that he'd smell sweet and not like dung. Hahahahh You are a master at this Serria, you really are. :'D You need some sort of medal. i also love how conniving Light is. It goes to show that he can be just as devious now as he is when he's Kira and knowing that he's not Kira (yet?) is the breath of fresh air that makes it all the more funny. Great job and great story, you've done well -Matt
