You made me cry...I really like this fic but you made me cry! I think I would like to see this continued. It was really very very good i I loved it.

That was really good. The entire thing was really sad. Poor Hughes and poor Ed. I feel sorry for both of them. I'm sure that Hughes would forgive Ed, if they were ever to meet again, in the afterlife that Ed barely believes in.

Nice Father's Day story. Poor Ed...he could have included Al but I think Ed needed to do this by himself. His guilt issues. Maes was a second father to the boys just like Mustang. Maes was the good father and Mustang is the father you fight with. Ed had a good relationship with Maes and I am glad he got to honor him. Maybe Mustang was really trying to protect the boys when he lied to them about Maes or maybe he just could not bring himself to say outloud that Maes was dead. Our relationships can get so complicated and in the FMA world complicated does not even cover it. That world gives new meaning to complicated. Thanks for the story. Hope Ed feels slightly better. Maes would understand the humor behind the rank remark...he would have understood. I also liked the end of the anime episode where Maes stands at the station and waves good bye to Ed and only Ed sees him. Ed is mystified and thinks he imagined it. I thought that end was bittersweet but am glad Maes said goodbye to Ed. Nice rememberance of Maes...thanks.
