Wow, I forgot to mention this but I almost didn't think it was a tumor. That surprising was the last thing I was thinking of because I don't see that in fics. It's always rare to see a character suffering from that.

Anyway, when I first thought of it I was like...wtf, is she a guy? But I was like no...she's a girl...and than I thought maybe a he-she? But that would seem out of place for a LXG fic and more like a drama soap opera thing to happen.

So yeah, that's quite unique and clever. Please continue this when you can!

Wow, I'm a new reader and this is such an awesome story! I read it all in one day. I didn't think I would be able to but I did and it's 7:30 that I finished it. I think it was around 10 that I started, kinda a fast reader but still...this is a wow story.

I'm quite surprise she want's to push Henry to do it like that. I was thinking maybe she would nudge him in another way, like...'no land surgeon and if Henry can't do it...than it looks like my fate is sealed'.

This is fabulous, in a sad way of course...but very reviting, and epic, it has action, drama and romance, this story should have a movie of its own... like a LXG spinoff.

You're a great writer and I wouldn't be able to go for FORTY chapters without having my main character verbally speak. You've done a fantastic job taking the story slow, step by step, and you're still an amazing writer. Please keep writing, it's inspiring.

I'm sorry to say, but if she ends up being able to speak due to the tumor's removal, I am going to be **. It's just too...storybook. Similarly, if Jekyll ends up operating for Marina, I will also be disappointed. Doctors don't operate on those they can't be objective with, that's just common sense.

But, as always, your story, your decision.

Although I can foresee the story ending in a way which I wouldn't like, the story currently is, as always, dramatic and exciting. I was actually wondering if this had been updated recently, and went looking for it. Turns out, it had.

I like this idea. Putting Henry in the situation to have to gain confidence in himself to perform the surgery because his character is often left feeing inadequate and needing Edward to save things or people (when he decides to play nice that is).

Hey! I still read this! I can understand her plight though. She has never had to deal with a doctor such as Henry or a surgeon but to think that closed-mindedly is a little unnerving. She doesn't realize that if he did the surgery and messed up, he would probably die literally and/or figuratively. I hate to say it but I am shocked at how selfish Marina was being in this chapter.

Still a good update though. Looking forward to the next one!
