zorrie 2008-10-28 . chapter 1how can this *possibly* have only one review?
"She held him close, and the more he struggled the tighter her grip became, until he cried out in anger." that line sums it all for me - i nearly feel sympathetic towards Morgan. She really does care about Mordred, in her own way.
I liked how you brought in Mab's feelings for Merlin - her remark to Frik in the movie about how she fooled herself into believing Merlin would work for her always struck me, and i'm glad to see someone else bring that in. And Mab's explanation that love makes a person weak, and so she simply won't be bothered with it - FLAWLESSLY in-character. you managed to give more depth to two characters easily stereotyped as heartless. Also, Mab's mention of the fact tht Mordred will always love Morgan, regardless - i must say, he seemed *far* from upset as she fell to her death. Never even blinked... which is making me wonder what exactly he hides behind his smirk.
overall i'd like to thank you for writing this awesomeness :) is it too much to hope for more? |
