One *could* wax poetic about the sheer, wonderful, brilliance of this +exquisite+ piece of Pepperony, with quotes of concerned lines, but it might be better if there's space for more than one review on each page. Great job. Despite the 'Angst' tag, (which often discourages me, happy ending appreciator that I am,) awesome.

This whole CIA business is getting intricate. Now, although I can't see Pepper as CIA material, I can *definitely* see Happy as CIA material.

Again, it's always good to see Tony and Pepper working things out amiably. And I can't believe that she hasn't bought anything for the baby yet!

Pepper is a serious basket case. Well, then again, so is Tony. Fine, they both are. Those two need to work something out, because the tension's getting to ME, too!

I was just as worried as Pepper. Then I'm sitting there thinking to myself, "Man, she's having everybody call EVERYBODY to take care of Tony in one way or another. There's going to be too many cooks in the kitchen! She's calling everyone but the National Guard!" Thankfully though, all that was avoided.

The thing about the lightning bugs and sitting out on the front porch, waiting for the storm ... I LOVED THAT! I live in the midwest in an area that gets hot and humid in the summertime, and we get storms that'll roll in just like that! It's my favorite thing, in the summer, to sit out on the porch and watch the storms come in!

Also, my family is a Marine family, so I'm LOVING the cameo that the USMC is playing in here! :)

I've yet to be able to decide if Mick is gay or not. Either way, I love him. He's got just as sharp of a comeback as Tony does for everything. And I like how he and Tony are able to dig at each other a bit while still getting along. Like they're getting along with each other in spite of something, almost.

I thought the same thing that Pepper did when Tony made that comment about opening legs for his country. I was sitting there thinking, "... wait ... didn't you just accuse *her* of doing that ... ?"

It's good to see that they're finally able to speak to each other a bit, even though it's not enough to really warrant a "mending old fences" medal.

Hmm ... Pepper as CIA ... never really envisioned it. She always seems to sweet and amiable to be CIA material. But Tony having a heart attack freaked me out. I think I went into overprotective mode and immediately went, "Don't ** him off, Pepper! He'll keel over!" And I'm DYING to find out who the father is!
