Keep going, I'm anxiously waiting for the next chapter!

Just thought I'd drop you a quick review and say that I'm really enjoying this story so far. I like that you're making a background for Mozenrath and you seems to have a well thought out plan as to where this story is going. I hope you have plans to add another chapter soon :)

It seems like Sadira and Moze were childhood friends. Hm…

It may be filler, but I did like this line: "Shame hung on him like a coat of mail, heavy and cold." It's cool that Sadira is going to teach him to control his magic.

The elements I love the most is the bickering between Al and Moze, the conversations between Moze and Cassim and also the glimps you give us of Moze's past. And you still do it all perfectly with everyone in character, congrats!
Would like to see a little interaction with the sultan too, would be intresting to know his thought about having the king of thieves, the lord of the black sand and a street mouse living in the palace, whereof Moze is watched by the king of thieves whom in his turn is watched by a monkey. talk about secure, haha!

Yes! Another chapter, finally! Though I'm one to talk... eherm... well, I'm so glad to read more of this story. It's a really great one. So intriguing. And I think it's a really useful filler. Full of hints and such. I like the interaction between Sadira and Mozenrath a lot. He's annoyed by her, she's not afraid of him, and it goes on. They make such a cute couple! (Whether you're going that way in this fic, I don't know or care. Either way, I love this story. ;) )

I think you've already thought about it, but an idea for the future, you could have the bad guys be surveilling him, and they see Sadira as well. Meanwhile, Moze is building relationships with everyone, yadda yadda... Then they come back and try to get him. Or maybe they put something in him that he doesn't know about and that he can't control. And then they come back and set it loose. Like a bomb-like burst of power from his body that they can set off with one magic word or something.

Writer's block stinks. I hope you get out of it soon. :)

Good so far! My only complaint about this chapter is that Mozenrath was bathing in water, and yet he complains about a lack of water.

I'm sure this has already been noted, but it just sort of bothered me.

one of the many great things with this story is that, even though english isn't my first language, the language in this story is easy to understand without being like in a typical text book. It flows on very nicely! :)

so, when will we see an update? I can't wait any longer! this is torture! ;)

You know, if Mozenrath was a magical entity made from black sand, it would certainly explain his fascination with magical objects. Maybe on some level he's looking for something that's like him because he's aware he's not human? Seems the glove is more like a leash.

Then there's the creepy scenerio that the glove is holding some dead person's soul, and whoever wears it gets drained of their own life until the soul in the glove can take over their body. Given Destane's preoccupation with Necromancy, this could really, really ugly for Mozenrath.

So Mozenrath is the form the black sand was given? Or is the glove the form? And where does one start and the other end? Is Mozenrath Mozenrath or was he someone else before Destane got him? Does that person even exist now?

this is without a doubt one of the BEST Mozenrath stories I have ever read. I really hope you continue the story, because I can't wait to find out what happens!
