I've actually read this story 3 times now - I don't think I've reviewed it before. It's very well written, very intuitive I think of Logan's feelings. I think you've really drawn him very well! I think it's hard to get the characters to sound and react as they would in the actual show. Well done!

That was great! Now I'll go read all your other M/L fics. It's really good to see some more M/L stories, i was afraid we'd lost em' all.

Love the adolescent shyness thing that you have going on between Maria and Sasha. Max and Logan's wistfullness at seeing Maria and Sasha's innocent exchanges was very touching. Great dialogue between Logan and David and Logan and Bling. He should listen to these guys. They're obviously a lot more astute about some things than he is. This was a sweet end to this story.

I loved the dance on the porch. Although you didn't mention it I could see both of them remembering their dream dance together. Of course neither would mention it but it would make them trade that look. That was a wonderful scene. I was expecting a big dramatic promise but this was so much better. Logan and a real friend talking about life and really appreciating each other's company. I am so glad that Logan realized how much David missed him. And Logan's shy references to showed just how much he trusts David. The promise to just try and have some more fun is just what a friend would elicit from Logan. He wouldn't push him to do what he probably wasn't capable of yet. And then there is Bling. You used him so well here. He is definitely full of wisdom. "I'm not asking you for any promises 'cause you don't need me to hold you to them. You're stronger than that now." That says it all perfectly. Despite all the external challenges Logan is stronger now and he knows he is. This was the best chapter of all. A wonderful hearwarming ending.

Nicely done. Good to see Bling back (we all miss him). And it's nice to see some of Logan's old friends show up and put him in his place. A sweet, gentle story keeping true to the characters, well told.

I don't think I've said this enough over the course of you posting this. I really like
this story. It was a simple premice and handled very well, with just the right touch
of sweetness (especially at the end) and Max's snappy attitude (a little strong in some
parts, but it's all good). I really can't draw on anything specific beyond that it left
me with a good feeling and what's more important than that? Truly a great job.
Looking forward to reading more of your work :)

Nice ending - it was good to see Bling back, I've missed him this season. sigh. I like the way you explained Logan asking Max to the wedding and I like the ending - Bling knows he doesn't need to make Logan promise not to give up because he can see that there's no need for it.

Ahhhh! A good end to a good fic. I like the way you used Sasha/Maria as a parallel for Logan/Max and as a way to start that wedding conversation. I'm glad you had Logan suddenly realize David had missed him. And I like the way Bling pointed out at the end that Logan is "not keeping his heart at a distance." That was a good reminder of the difference in Logan's attitude toward Max between last year and this year.

This story was really wonderful. I was excited to see new chapters being posted. I'm sad it's finished, but hope you will write more 'ship fics for us!
