Beautiful and so sad and twisted, poor Dean. I love this and the John one of these so much because it gives so much more to the character and makes me feel so much for them. I love Dean so much and this story caused be to like AU and unrelated Dean/Sam. Thank you for all your work!

I was wondering if you were still planning on continuing the Innocence and Feathers 'verse cause I'm in love with it so much and want to know what happens.

The way you write Dean is incredible- everyone can see themselves reflected in his ups and down and cyclical neuroticisms and manic points. Really, it's hard to swallow at times because of close it cuts to something inside of yourself when everyone likes to pretend that there's nothing of that sort that they deal with.

Ugh! I absolutely love it. "Innocence" and it's sequel are, to this day, my favorite fics on this site. Maybe it's just because I'm a sucker for angst and romance, but I just love them so much. I URGE you to publish. Or at to try. The world deserves to see your insanely awesome skills. I was SO excited when I saw that you had written another fic (even if was just a shorty) for that 'verse. I really think you should write more. Even better: write another sequel!

There are no words that describe the love I have for your series. It is so beautifuly writen and compelling. Normally I don't read stories that don't have lemons in them, but over 40 chapters and only a few kisses later and I still love this universe. Dean is so damaged, I just want Sam to make it all better for him. I like how your making Dean's healing a gradual process instead of instently having him all better. The only glitch I really see is that sometimes Sam seems a little too perfect. But besides that it is practly perfect in every way.

I miss this 'verse dreadfully. I think that you've done such a good job with the characters and broken!Dean takes on a whole new meaning in your fic.

I would be ecstatic if you posted something more in this 'verse and I would probably melt into a puddle of goo if you wrote a continuation 'Eyes Locked in Downcast Love'. I understand what a trememdous endevour it was to write 'Innocence' and 'Eyes' and you've undertaken it beautifully. This piece was especially gratifying.

I'm so glad that I know this is a prequel... and that Dean does get saved, because it was heartbreaking. As usual, the writing was clean, striking, beautiful, sad. Great job; makes me miss this Dean and his Sam. I'd be happy if you wrote more :)

i loved this oneshot. it really describes things that dean went through, and what was really going through his mind when he first saw Sam with John.
Loved it, and if your not going to carry on the story at least do more oneshots like this one!! lol

How could you think no one would remember this verse?!?

I adore this verse, its amazing and I love reading it over and over. This fic fits in so well to show what a shell of a man Dean was before Sam saved him and loved him.

This 'verse is magic. Dean's space is sad and beautiful. It makes me weep for him and Sam.

Alternate Universe, AU. It's called that for a reason. Writers love reviews but if people don't take time to read the summary or warnings then that's just a disaster for both sides.

That whole part just screamed "Pretty When You Cry" by VAST. It was plesantly chilling.

This is such a great series. It breaks my heart everytime.

Randomly weird. What does any of that have to do with Supernatural other than the fact that you've turned the incredibly heroic Dean Winchester into a weak, repulsive shell of a man with no morals? Other than using the name, that has absolutely nothing to do with the spirit of the show whatsoever. Whew, I feel better now. I need to go shower, I feel dirty after reading that.
