Holy frogmelons! Okay, so, to start off - the title alone got me very excited. Love Catcher in the Rye, and the comparison just... Works.
And then the fic itself is amazing. I still love how you write Iago, and his sudden moments of manic spazmoditic-ness are perfect. This chapter was funny and interesting and I totally want more.

My favorite line?
"Comedian. Me? Yeah right. That’ll be the day!"

Dude, when I saw the title of this thing sitting there all innocently in my inbox, I just had to blink at it for a little while.

I mean, when faced with a combination of Aladdin and Catcher in the Rye, what else can one possibly do? Blinking seemed like the best option.

A perusal of the summary later, I was way intrigued. Although I've never actually READ CitR (I admit it - I'm a poseur, haha) I know the basics and this just sounded HILARIOUS.

And it totally was! (Surprise - HF writes something brilliant. I'm shocked. Never saw that coming. Maybe try sucking for a change of pace?)

I am now vowing to score a copy of CitR and read it - right after I get through the rest of my summer reading, of course; I've already got more books than there are weeks in the break.
