I read this story and I find my self asking, why the hell haven't you continued with this? This has AMAZING potential! Really nice, I like the description and effort you put into this. Seriously, continue it, even if only 1 or 2 people review, this is story can NOT be left abandoned!

Wow, I will say I'm not really up on the Halo story (I don't own a 360 you see), but from what I do know, I really do like this. You did a very good job of conveying the wanting that Cortana was experiencing...really good stuff. Great dialog, keep up the good work!

Nicely written, you got their personality down right espacially Cortana... except the Chief, he seems just a little bit OOC but that's it. Too bad it is a One-Shot, I think it would have turned out into a good story.
