Wow, that was really quite good. The minimalism of the detail and dialogue really worked for the overall effect - one of sadness and isolation. As much as I love all of the fluffy Tony/Pepper stories I've been reading, it's more realistic to expect them to have a hard time connecting emotionally, and this ficlet captures that. Bravo!

This was such a well done piece, I was all upset that she wasn't with Tony, but then at the end I flipped out! This was very impressive writing, and did I mention hot? lol!
