*chuckle* This looks like a most interesting start to an AU story. The ripple effects from the change in what happened likely won't be much at first, but I rather suspect they'll become profound over time. Bravo!! for finding a different spot to branch an AU from.

This could be really interesting...I like it already. Especially how you keep it so canon--I'd nearly forgotten Fanfic!Ron and Fanfic!Harry as twelve-year-olds. I'm kinda glad they're innocent and not hooking up with Hermione/Ginny/Luna/Draco/Snape/anyone you can think of. Keep it up.
