dhh 2008-08-13 ch 1,	abuseHey there, Not what I expected from this SHORT story of yours..I have to say, I loved 'BLP' eventhou it's STRAIGHT and I really, really didn't take to that one girl that Methos saved from dying. It just wasn't right and that whole part of your story, I HATED but other then that, it's a amazing story..It would've been better if it was Slash but YOU'RE a straight writer, which is a pity when it comes to this story becuz there isn't much quality, lengthy HL/Stargate crossover or HL/Crossover of any kind..Yours, along wit another is thy best that I've read.. As for this one, it really wasn't what i expected..I didn't expect YOU to make John a pre-Immortal...I really, really wished this story/chapter was better..More stuff going on, and more, of just everything..This has to be thy worst of a seqeul to 'BLP' becuz it was pretty boring.. You could've done more with 'BLP' if you wanted but you chose to end it...Pity! Sincerely,

I got hooked on SG/Highlander stories after reading the fantastic Ecolea's "Changing of the Guard." I have read several other stories both a Heliopolis and 7th Dimension, and your series and Ecolea's are the best that I have read! You have exciting, fast-paced story lines and despite being an AU your characters catch the flavor of the originals. O'Neil is delightfully irreverent, and Methos is his egmatic, snarky self. Great job. I look forward to reading more!
cjcold2 2008-07-11 ch 1,	abuseNice update. So glad to see more of this story. It has been a while, but that is okay, just means I get to go back to reread all of the series. Glad to see Methos with his trickster habits in play. I agree that he had to limit his interference. Would be nice to see the children and mothers come visit the Athosians. Maybe bring along some Watchers, learning about new cultures and all that rot. Maybe have Methos bring along some gifts for the visit, since they have to leave everything they couldn't move through the gate. Not high tech electronics but some simple tools, cloth, spices and other things that they might apprecicate without changing who they are. I can definitely see Methos bringing toys for the children. Maybe old style wooden toys and handcrafted things, not the plastic they make these days. Look forward to more of this and how Methos subtle interference can change things hopefully for the better. And maybe defalte Rodneys Ego regularly. More soon please.

There is to little interaction between the characters. Most is just describing what Methos does. Not to sound ungrateful. I still like it very much. I found a 'tbc' at the end? Does that mean there is more? :) Hope so.
acer-sigma 2008-06-27 ch 1,	abuseWhat a treat to see this story come up. Interesting to see you tie the ancient gene into the immortals. Course this begs the question of whether or not Jack is a pre-immortal. Found it quite amusing to see Methos wandering around in the background observing and studying Atlantis and all its new inhabinants. Not suprising that he would latch onto McKay for amusement. Nice little warning about the Ori. Too bad Jack didn't catch it. Hope this means you might do a little something with the new SG-1. Somehow I suspect Methos would probably get along marvelously with Vala! Till next time!
