Wow. That was amazing. It's so understated, and the slow, careful progression of it is perfect, and you handle the emotions so delicately, and it's just beautiful. I think I shall have to add Goyle to my list of 'Characters that need more fanfiction'... The way you played these two off each other - both having lost something so fundamental - was wonderful. I absolutely loved it.

Two broken halves, non fitting, but just because of that, a strange perfect mach. You made me cry, you made me laugh, and you made me do both at once… Such a beautiful story… I didn’t know that you could write such a deep peace… It would make JKR proud. Maybe someone should send it to her. Thank you.

I just love original plots. You've really touched on all the points of grief. The rainy and sunny days are equally annoying; we wonder why we're still alive and wish we weren't, because there are just too many years left when one day is agony; watching other people celebrating is like salt on a wound; and it hurts to see anyone who reminds us of the one we can't see ever again.

I guess that's why some people form unlikely friendships after tragedy; things are such a mess that the old ways no longer work. I've not yet seen a fic that showed either Crabbe or Goyle as human beings rather than Malfoy's goons. Everyone has a story; thanks for telling theirs!

That is a marvelous story and kept calling up ghosts of some long-forgotten Tommy and a German soldier out of World War I.

I have no idea why I love Goyle and can't stand Crabbe but I loved this.

I love how you kept his character close to canon and found an unexpected bond/shared experience between George and Greg.

Easily one of the weirdest stories I've ever read, but in a good way. I don't know if I've ever really seen anyone try to write Goyle well, but you managed it here. Keep up the good work!
