I really like how you portrayed Sephiroth in this fic. He has depth of emotion, but doesn't show it. I always imagined him like that. Zack is a little harder to figure out. Why would be help Sephiroth? It sounded like he wanted Cloud but didn't want to take advantage of him, so he went for the general instead. Interesting love triangle.

I like how you stuck in character. So many people disregard the actual characters behind Sephiroth and Genesis, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Oh, I love it! You make the characters *feel* so much, it's beautiful. I like how you stuck with the theme 'unholy' throughout, and the progression of the 'taste' metaphor.
Too many people have Sephiroth knowing everything about Cloud when he barely even spoke to him in-game, so having him refer to Cloud as 'whoever the hell that was' amuses me greatly.

On a somewhat fangirlish note,there is simply not enough Genesis/Sephiroth out there. If you think about it, Genesis and Zack are quite a bit a like, except Zack is more loyal and Genesis more independent.
