Well, I think they get a little too explicit at the end (not like sexually explicit obviously); House declares his feelings a little too directly and I think Cameron's "I love you" is also a bit too soon. However, that having been said, I thoroughly enjoyed this fic. It was very well written (I loved the rhythm and your style). And you use "Everybody lies" to great effect. I'll have to see now if you've written other stories.

THIS was the best post finale fic I've read yet. I loved it. You allowed House a subtle nudge in the right direction without making him too sappy or OOC. And I can't say how much I loved that you have Cameron realizing that it didn't feel right to be out at dinner while he's there suffering. Perfect. I thought that dinner scene was sort of out of place and it bothered me. This is my new canon. *favorites*

Yes, definitely write another, more fluffy one. And more Hameron stories, period. I especially like your referencing the bit on the bus (no, not that exceedingly creepy bit with Cuddy, yuck! phooey!) but House rawly confessing about how he doesn't want to be miserable, and in pain, and have his one friend hate him. I thought that scene was incredibly emotional; in fact, it was the one scene in the whole 2-part finale I gave a damn about.

And you also had Cam coming back to the hospital, instead of just that asinine scene where she heads off with the others to go to a restaurant or bar. Last time she was holding a vigil in House's hospital room, but now it's Cuddy?!?!?!??! Yuck! phooey!

And the thing about 13 as a substitute for Cam. I forget which episode, but I loved House's line when Cam called him on it, and he replied, "yeah, yeah, yeah, all pretty girls are fungible" a theory he was indicating was not his sentiment on the matter at all.
