I've been a Radiohead fan since 1993, and a Zutara fan since "I'll save you from the pirates," so imagine my delight when I discovered a Zutara fic that quotes my favorite song from In Rainbows! Just wanted to drop a line to say I love this story, and can't wait for the next chapter! Keep up the awesome work!

you have no idea how much i love that you didn't turn mai into a villian for the sake of the couple, and that you've actually taken reality into account. the emotions in this story seem totally real as well, and all the characters seem perfectly depicted.

my only little complaints:
1) when aang is talking, he's perfectly in-character, but most of the time, he's not (talking). he's kinda oddly silent. although i imagine it's hard to have every character interacting in every scene..? ^^; still, try not to throw him to the dogs :p (not that you are! just saying. lol.)
also, he can be a little clueless at times, but i don't think he would be the ONLY one not to notice something going on between zuko.

2) this has no real effect on the story, just my random head fanon lol, but i find it very hard to belief that toph would just disappear on them like that, with little to no contact. that's just me though.

anyhow,
i am VERY VERY anxiously awaiting an update. :]

So Zuko had responded to Katara's letters, but just never sent them...interesting. I assume we'll find out in time what the rest of the notes say?
Also, I think you've done a good job with the chapter titles. But I'm starting to miss Toph and Iroh's presence in the story. Both of them seem to have the ability to make the other characters examine themselves. I like that Sokka has done this for Katara, but I'm hoping to see both Toph and Iroh soon.

Hey there! So glad you came back to this story! Apart from finding both Zuko and Katara unbelievably dense, yes DENSE! The both of them! I really loved these two chapters. Some lines were legendary: Ozai finally learning the ways of tea and failure, Mai eating froot tarts and, don't like her much but I have to give it to her: “I didn’t know recreation room was a euphemism for the waterbender’s **. It makes sense though.” Priceless. Absolutely brilliant. Pleaso go for your funny chapter 7, can't wait to read it!
Hope Katara and Zuko will leave the stage of denial soon, especially if she's going after him (and I mean, OFCOURSE she's going after him if he says she can't, good on her!) she'd better just open her eyes and grab her man!

oh, ps: what was that with the whole 'falling asleep before anything happened' business. How did that ever happen? First I thought Katara must have knocked Zuko out but clearly she hasn't. Mmh... I think Zuko is right to worry.
