I have been absolutely meaning to drop you another proclamation of love and awe over your writing, but things have beaten me away from it (meant to for the update in the summer and then we had a weekend trip, and the school was starting... and then i got plum lazy because I'm a bum :| ). I know you haven't been feeling to inspired to work on this fic, and I understand. It makes it all the more delightful when you /do/ feel it and update. Your writing is so amazing and enriching that I'm just drawn into it.

You portray characters in ways that make them human. You aren't glamorizing certain relationships or really trying to push anything, and it really helps to hold the suspense. For instance, Ephraim's thoughts concerning Eirika are sometimes dark, possessive, or unusual, but they are written in a way that seems real. I see it as a part of his character, rather than something that was thrown into him for fun or lazy interest or rather than his core. It's...balanced, so to speak, with his other traits and not screaming for attention (something it garners well enough on its own by its own construction). While it's not something I would have considered myself, it makes me interested in how he thinks, how it affects his decisions. It adds depth to him.

I also think it's interesting how, so far, it seems everyone has really been thinking in their own interest, rather than Eirika's in terms of her prospective relations.Things are being decided in secret and without her in a very human line of deceit. No one is infallible or perfect here, and I really like that.

So... I dunno if I'm coming clear or not, this is somewhat stream-of-consciousness. But I suppose the bottom line is that you are still making characters real and interesting, even (or perhaps especially) ones I hadn't really given much thought to before, like Innes and Ephraim. (aww, let's be honest, I kind of tend to push FE8 to the side for FE7, but your fic continues to inspire me to think about it more, bring ideas and sometimes arts to the top of my mind.)

I love this story so much, it's exactly what I wish there was more of on this site as an obsessed SethxEirika follower, haha. I'm not sure what your reasons are for your hiatus on this but I hope they won't last long because I look forward to the day this story can progress. :)

Uwhe! Finally an update. Gosh, I don´t know how long I waited for it.
But seriously. I can understand that Tana worries about Innes. And that if Innes really loves Eirika (even though I think he sees her more like a trophy) and hates Seth for being loved by her, he wants to kill him. I can´t understand Ephraim wanting her for him (because incest is just creepy). But the point is, I can´t understand why nobody, really nobody thinks about Seth´s or Eirika´s feelings. They´re a bunch of egoistic fools. Urgh, I can´t stand them.
Äh, and when did Leonardo said that he wants Seth? Did I miss that? Was it in the previous chapter? Hmm, it´s quite some time since I read it.
Well, regardless, its a great story. May the writer´s block be cursed.

Very good read, I've caught up to the more recent chapters after falling greatly behind in all the fanfictions I wanted to read.

As I've said in previous reviews, this story is quite intriguing and quite a different twist on what you'd normally expect from Fire Emblem characters. Keep up the good work!
