Gail Cregg 2009-03-03 . chapter 1I enjoyed that. You got to love Abby's stubborn persistence. |

Random Flyer 2008-12-29 . chapter 1Hey! I really love this story you did about Abby and Tony. I think it would be wicked cool if you did an expanded version of this story, maybe took the first half when they meet or something. I think that would be really cool since I haven't seen many extanded stories focusing on the whole Tony/Abby brother/sister thing. |
 Obsessed Pam 2008-12-12 . chapter 1Magic! |
sparkycola1 2008-12-07 . chapter 1Aw, cute! :) And yeh - we know they didn't click right away from when Abby *did* click straight off with Kate and Tony was like 'How come you didn't get on with me that fast?' so - fits with the series perfectly! Great job =D Thanks for posting =) |
serendipitous-15 2008-11-30 . chapter 1I loved it, you're right, Tony and Abby probably didn't mesh all that well immediately and I liked that you showed how much time and effort Abby put into getting Tony comfortable with being hugged. |
 fuzzyalligator 2008-11-25 . chapter 1Squee!
That was so cute! I love Abby and Tony as a brother and sister couple. (If that makes sense)
And, I'm sure you're right about them not clicking right away.
~Fuzzy~ :3 |
The North Wyn 2008-10-23 . chapter 1Aww, how sweet! I think you've got both of them very well in character. One of my favorite lines: "Gibbs seemed to think the whelp was okay, but Abby wasn’t so sure. He didn’t hug for cryin’ out loud! What kind of normal person didn’t like hugs?"--I can so hear Abby saying that. Anyway, this is a very cute fic. Good job! |
ChamberlinofMusic 2008-09-08 . chapter 1Aw!I just simply loved it! Awesome job! |
Yum 2008-07-24 . chapter 1>>I just love Tony/Sciuto as brother/sister, but I don't think they clicked right away. They're just too different.
I agree. I don't think they'd clicked right away. You have a wonderful Abby POV that carries us along the progression between the two.
>>This was before his life course crashed into Abby‘s.
A great preamble to the theme of this story.
>>Abby hugged people; that was what she did. She offered comfort and simple affection with those cuddles. Everybody had always loved her hugs until that ungrateful ex-cop came around.
So Abby. So true. :)
>>“Gibbs, I don’t like him. He’s all…hinky!“
LOL
>>The cop and the lab rat surely although reluctantly became friends. Their souls merged with time. Abby again started bombarding him with her embraces, but he was a really slow learner, she had to admit that. Always tensing up, never returning the affection. However, in her inimitable way, she refused to be deterred and simply worked her way through those silly emotional walls of his. She was adamant.
I like this. It has almost a 3rd person story telling quality to it with 'the cop and the lab rat' but you worded just right to keep it personal.
>>She was able to sneak up on him - another piece of evidence to confirm his concussion - and simply put her arms around him. He flinched from her at first, but then sighed and let her hold him. Maybe even relaxed a little.
Perfect breakthrough moment.
>>In the lab the night Kate was killed, he sought out her comforting embrace and she leaned into him and cried and spluttered and smeared makeup on his shirt, and she didn’t know who got solace from whom.
A very good closing of the plot, coming full circle now as the hugging goes both ways.
>>She had the whelp well trained by now…
And once again, the perfect closer.
I don't think I need to say anything more. The stoy, while short, held the right combination of Abby's humor and wit with the angst of Tony's original distant and self contained persona. Another great piece. I really enjoyed it. |
 Phoenix414 2008-07-21 . chapter 1Liked this. So how I see Abby and Tony |
SparklingCatseye 2008-07-13 . chapter 1awesome little story! very insightful!
i recognized in the show that tony isn't very fond of friendly hugs and only allows abby to do so before finding an excuse. i am glad that you picked up this theme. |
 SarahKathryn 2008-07-11 . chapter 1well written, great read :) |
Smackalicious 2008-07-06 . chapter 1Oh, that was lovely. I personally love the idea of Tony & Abby in a relationship, but I can totally see the brother/sister thing, too. Though I usually look at it as more really close friends. Anyway. That's besides the point. This was really nicely written and just so true to them. Nice work. |
divine one 2008-07-03 . chapter 1i have to say... your painting of them so points to 'more than friendship/brotherly-sisterly' love... there's a 'tingle' there...
a breaking down of the walls as you say! |
