this is a wonderful story. i love Ken trying to do things for a girl the "right" way -- he's such a perfectionist! and i love the twist, when he gets it *exactly* right.

I really like this. I agree that Ken has feelings; he just has trouble expressing them. This sense of humor is something I hadn't thought of or associated with Ken before, but it fits him perfectly in this story.

This story amused me to no end because I kept substituting Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes - "Do you have a dumpster I can root around in?" when getting flowers for Susie - for Ken.

I do like what is said in the story, though (despite my sense of humor about it).

Jigokillers is one of my favorite eps, too. M. All the pretty angst.

This was great fun! I loved the idea of Ken buying "yay, they're all dead" flowers.

I just wanted to let you know that I adored that fact that Ken gave Jun wilted flowers! It wasn't what I expected (you kept me guessing as I read) but it was a perfect solution to his situation. I also think that you right when you said in your author's notes that Ken is sometimes abused by fan writers (sometimes I don't even recognize him). I appreciated the way you wrote him - clearly thoughtful and intelligent, yet slightly confused and insecure when it comes to more personal relationships.

Great ending! I was a huge G-Force fan and I remembered the episode with the killer flowers, it was so different from what was on that time. This was really good and I hope you'll write another one soon.

But I haven't "seen" Gatchaman so I should probably do that!

The Jigokillers episode was my favorite also; although I prefer the "Battle..." universe, this was the episode that gave us a glimpse into Ken's feelings for Jun (Until ADV had Ken yell "Galactor!!" instead of "Jun!" as the original. I never forgave them for that!) Anyway your telling of what could've happened afterwards was a great rendition. You're a wonderful writer! Went right into my favorites pile!

This is great. You have really got itno Ken's head and shown his thoughts. I really feel sorry for him that things of beauty have some horrible memories for him but I love his flower selection at the end.
I also love his typically male thought of "Don't guys usually buy girls flowers?"

I'm impressed! This is a take on the post-Jigokillers episodes that I have never seen before and I absolutely loved it! I like the image of the Eagle (who is rather clueless about girls at times) trying to pick out flowers for Jun ata time when neither of them probably wants to see another flower for the rest of their lives. I think his eventual pick is perfect. I also loved the line, 'Don't guys usually buy girls flowers?' That is so completely Ken! I really look forward to seeing more of your Gatchaman work in the future. Excellent job!

I loved it! And I liked how you got into Ken's head, made him human, but with depth of character. The twist at the end is sweet and romantic in a way that would be the Eagle.
