I liked that you were pretty acurate and stuff. There are just some things that people don't write about...um...I won't name what I am thinking but it starts with P and ends in two SS and an I is in there somewhere...right anway.

Very good and quite realistic description of Kenshin's recovery following the Shishio story arc.

The pacing was exceptionally well done. People don't just bounce back overnight from wounds like the ones Shishio inflicted on Kenshin, and your story reflected that nicely.

Nice story! A few inconsistencies with the time period (were telegraphs available for commoners? can Megumi really make the distance in three days?) but otherwise, a great read. I like how you portray the characters, especially Megumi at the end of Week 3. My favorite part was Week 5. =) Great job!

Finally a detailed written ending to the Kyoto-arc. I like how you took time to write the slow process of healing from different perspectives and in different, small scenes, some known from the manga or the anime, some out of your own fantasy. It was fun to read!

Kenshin is so not deserving Kaoru, not at all.

That was incredibly touching. I love how you split up the seperate weeks and told everything within that month that we missed in the books. You must have done some research to find out some of the medical knowledge though. It seems more indepth that average.

Oh, I am glad you posted this before I went out of town. Now I get to be the first reviewer. I really like the way you matter-of-factly deal with the physical issues of Kenshin's recovery Kaoru's nursing and Megumi's doctoring. The physical care becomes the manifestation of the growing closeness and helps to drive and give an excuse for it.

I am glad you took out the line about the microphone. I still wish the line about staying until he was better or dead was gone but the author rules. Good story and so refreshing to find good RK canon.
