I must say your fish story is very, very odd. lol That certainly doesn't happen every day. That comment aside, I really loved this chapter. Poor Inuyasha. Rejected! hehe But really, he would've realized soon enough that they're better as friends anyways. I must say again how much I love how you're writing Seshoumaru. I find his internal struggles to be really amusing, while his outward behavior remains stoically charming. I personally always viewed him this way. He's strong, stubborn, cool and calculating. But he's also smoldering under all that. He's the living embodiment of the old saying "still waters run deep". I also love kagome in this story. Her frustration is just so funny. And I'm glad that even though she felt a little guilty (which, thank you for making it realistic and not having her fall madly in love with one kiss) it didn't ruin the interlude between her and Sesshoumaru. After all they've been through, too much angst over their attraction would have been annoying and out of place. I think you got it just right. I think the only thing I would add is more detail on the sensations of the kiss please! It is their first after all. But that's because I'm a fluff-monger, so feel free to ignore me. hehe. Oh, but I loved his remark afterwards "You did not prevent me." What a smug bastard, I love it! lol Anyways, I'm so glad you updated this story. Thank you! Keep up the good work!

I like this chapter. It's so cute! They are making progress...but what will happen when InuYasha really does have to give Kagome up to his brother. Or was his leaving earlier his way of giving up Kagome to his brother?

Once again, an excellent job my friend. I like that the outcome of Inuyasha somewhat discovering the bond and growing relationship between his brother an Kagome wasn't some knock down, drag-out fight, as it would be traditionally. The transition was smooth but not uneventful or dull. Me like!

That's definitely not a story I usually hear...I give you a 7/10 on uniqueness :P

Booyaka! New Chapter! *happy dances, then giggles* Inuyasha's ending comment has me stuck in giggle-mode. I DO feel badly for him though. On the other hand... I'm more than a little Proud of him for being so much more perceptive.

As for my own being perceptive of what Sesshomaru was upset about... *grins* To me it was so Obvious. Maybe because had it been about the mentioning of Inuyasha's name he would have made comment on such, one way or another.

I look forward to what comes of this. Not so much of the battle & learning about Kagome's new quick healing (though that is VERY cool) but concerning the relationship. Talking. Growth. That sort of thing.

Hopefully... there will be someone for Inuyasha too. ;) When the time comes. Especially since he's already been so perceptive in realizing Kagome is not romantically interested in him as she once was. Something of which SHE is clearly not so aware.
