good tribute

I love the way this was written. You did a great job "seeing" inside Hammond's head. My fav line was "...one slightly less than deceased Doctor Daniel Jackson..."

Really nice! It's fun to look at the events of 1969 from Hammond's point of view. Love his thoughts about sending a woman into combat and the "normal sense of decency." I bet that was blown out of the water very quickly... :-)
