You write Kaylee so cute! "pretties shoppin" and all. Its sweet, and the shopping scenes were fun and interesting. For a while I felt bad that Simon and River couldn't go out planetside but I guess they do have lots of wanted posters on this planet, it was funny when Mal said Simon and River have posters all over the verse, so nonchalant-like. Mae's back story is convincing and realistic, it is totally the type of thing the Alliance would do. Continues to be good and interesting and to hold my attention well. I think I've figured out who ends up with who.

Wow, dude! I'm really excited to see an update for this story! More than a year later but the update finally came and I'm glad because I like it. You've seamlessly picked up where you left off, getting everyone ready for the big heist and Wash struggling with Alere "replacing" Zoe and his feelings related thereto, I can't blame him really. I liked the bit about Jayne memorizing the code, brings us back to Ariel with those cordical electrodes :). River often behaves herself fine as long as someone is there just in case so the captain shouldn't worry so much, though he doesn't want anything going wrong on his boat, :). Hopefully I won't have to wait another year for an update. Great story as always.

I just read this entire thing, and I have to say, I'm intrigued. It's well written, and well thought out. Wash not being the bubbly personality he was is normal, and you're bringing it off very well, so far, IMO.

Good story, and good plot work. Keep at it!

I loved that Mal was really protective of Alere when they met with badger-cause Mal is kind of jerk at times but when his true self shows it's like honor and integrity to the freaking max!LOL did I mention I like Mal? anyway, really exited about this social gathering they're going to! freaky and interesting at the same time=) OMG! River rocked when she was telling Mea off-it wast that she was telling her off it was HOW she told her off, saying it like the sort of weather their is or that the sky blue and clouds are white, you know?Simply but then complexly-though I imagine that is River's personality:) You made Wash soo cute around Mea...I was smiling and giggling through that part!LOL I like how you are slowly intertwining everyone's...lives making them closer its really wonderful;) SERIOUSLY CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT!!LOL

Still happily reading. Sounds like a good job they're going out on, should be interesting. That's interesting that May worked at the academy, could explain River's initial reaction although I think part of the reason River got upset that first night is because May stole her seat, the one next to Simon. That and who was in the seat probably combined to make River upset, just my guess. Anyway, nice to see River feeling safe around May. Please do remember to keep River's wits touched, but it would be nice if May could help her feel safer and more content, touched doesn't have to mean upset and valitile. Looking forward to reading on and trying to figure if Wash will fall for Alere or May, which one, :)

Still here and reading. Its interesting to think about Alere and Tracey having had a relationship since he was a minor charactor, he must have caught your fancy. I like this story, keep it going well.

Thanks for the review =) since CosmicGirl is in the process of moving as she said, I guess I'll take over in saying that. You make a really good point about River, which I appreciate. I assure you we had no plans for making her normal... but there are some developments with her we have planned. Dr. Long's connection with the Miranda incident (as well as other things...) will be explained even more throughout the course of the story, so please stay tuned. We'll get back to updating as soon as possible!

I like this story a lot, not common for a post bdm fic. Its kind of interesting to see this alternate version, in which Zoe dies. I like Zoe and miss her here, but I miss Wash in all the other post bdm fics equally. I think it would be nice if Dr. Long can help River feel happier/safer/more content but River needs to remain touched in the wits or else the whole thing seems pointless to me, I don't like fics where she's normal. So keep her touched, but she can definitely afford to be more placid/content because then she'll feel better and not scared. I fail to understand why the Alliance would use Mae as a skapegoat for the Mirand wave, what connection did she have? you havn't made it clear. Keep up the good work.

Cliffhanger much? This is shaping up pretty well, I must say! So was Tracey her boyfriend, her brother...what? And why did River freak so much 'bout the ladydoc? Are there bad memories there? (well, of course there're bad memories, this is River, but does the lady tie in directly?)
