I like this, even if I have not one iota where this is all going... it's lucky I'm more of a Rikku/Gippal kinda girl than Yuna/Tidus otherwise I would be a very, very worried bunny right now.
Anyway, I love your narration, and it's a testament to your writing that I haven't thought of any constructive crit. to offer, just worrying about the characters and hoping it evens out for them. I like how realistic their problems are, and how you show the True Love (tm) does falter, and how everyone shouldn't assume it is True Love (tm) anyway.

Despite that he's not taking sides, Gippal definitely saved Tidus' arse from the wrath of Wakka! xD

Nice to see Lulu come into the plot (though, I'd be damned if the rest of the pilgrimage, living and farplane'd, heard about this!) and give her response to the incident. Still, much lawlz goes to Gippal weighing the idea of calling Rikku and Paine's failed attempt to stop said blabbermouth from informing Wakka of what went down. ;)

so, this basically just elaborated on what we already knew, but interesting character interaction!
poor gippal is so confused, and tidus is just downright confusing, and pretty much everyone else seems to be caught in between wanting to play it down, and wanting figure it out.


i'm thinking i might just ignore all updates until i know the whole thing is complete... in hopes that maybe it won't be so sad that way..? ahaha.

Great chapter, especially the comment about everyone wanting to be a hero. I thought Tidus having a "fan girl", was hilarious, as well as Wakka's reaction to the break up. Keep going, and update soon.

Honestly, as far as writing in this chapter went, it was good... but content wise eh... it felt a lot like a filler; which every story needs a couple of, so... yeah. Good writing though.

Rikku's comment to Yuna about going where ever she goes was a slap in the face to Paine. It was almost like she couldn't even acknowledge Paine's existence. Definitely an ouchie. :(

So far, it doesn't seem like anyone is out of character. I do look forward to what happens next.
