You're right; the romance angle in the other Bat-Canary series was starting to overshadow the action. Good job of avoiding that pitfall, here.

This story put a smile on my face nearly from line 1, and it stayed there throughout. You write Dinah with life and a wonderful sense of humor, and her observations of the Bat clan are right on, IMHO. I'm definitely going to be looking for your other stuff.
