This was great! Very well written with excellent descriptions! I think the first half was my favorite, when they were little kids. That was so sweet!

This story made me SQUE so much; I can't believe I've never read it before! I really loved everything about it. They were both totally in character, it was well-written and bittersweet and completely adorable. And I have no idea why, but the image of a little Raoul sitting in the attic looking at a book about ships may be the cutest thing I've ever heard of.

Nice one shot. I think this is a good place to end this little tale. It was very sweet and gives us an idea of what Christine's and Roul's childhoods were like when they were together.
I'm looking forward to reading more of your stories.

That was beautiful. I really liked it. Outstanding. I got so teary reading it. When I get like that, or experience any emotion after reading a story, the author has done their job to the fullest. Thank you for writing this amazing portrayal of the Raoul & Christine relationship.

You know I'm still a bit put off by the Chandelier dropping in the musical. Even as pissy and possibly deranged as he is at the end of AIOY, I still can't see him being able to try and kill her. Or maybe he assumed she'd run away in time and not stand like a deer in the headlights, idunno. Anytime I think of the scene I have to wonder what would have happened if it had in fact bopped her in the head.

Aww, bee, I loff it :wub: I think you incorporated the prompt very well--I like the echoing sentiments at the end of each half, and how you use them to reflect how R/C have changed as well as stayed the same (like the handkerchief being crumpled when Raoul's a boy and neatly folded when he's a man). I think it's brill :) I'm glad you finished and posted!
