I dont know if you have noticed but I have recently been cloging up your inbox with fav story alerts, and now I'm finnally taking the time to review!
First of all I don't know if I should to love you or hate you right now... I had just recently got over my obsession with fanfiction from a couple other fandoms and I had actually started to have some free time to, you know, sleep and eat and all those other unneccesary tasks. But then I just had to turn on my tv at just the right time and ended up watching supernatural for the first time, an entire marathon of supernatural to be exact. And just like that, I was hooked. Then of course my over-active imagination started going 'well what if...?' and I went on and found one of your stories (behind closed doors)and loved it. But then of course that amazing story had to have a sequal, and then the sequal had a sequal and then I found more of your stories while looking for then next in the series...
Long story short I became obsessed with your stories [especially the hurt!sammy ones and then by extention supernatural fanfiction all together. And I have you and my stupid tv to blame... or thank... I'm not exactly sure yet.
Anyway, sorry for the supper long review, I just figured I had alot to make up for because of all those other stories I faved but didn't review you are an amazing writter and I absolutly love your stories! Now I'm off to stalk your profile some more until I have read all your awsome supernatural stories!
Absolutely wonderful. I really enjoyed this. The whole angsty-thing at the beginning, and then the delicious chick-flick moment and bit of humour at the end- it was great. Thanks for sharing, I really like your writing. I appreciate that you seem to put effort into it, it's just really nice to read something with little to nil spelling errors, and an interesting plot. And your Sam/Dean interaction is wonderful. Great job.
I just loved this piece! It was so original, so incredibly intense, had limpSam/guilty Dean, beautiful hurt/comfort, and Bobby too! Poor Sammy really suffered and to have his torturer wearing his brother's body...was so creepy for me to read, and so hard for Sam to take. The car scene with Sammy being dragged behind it, then slammed into the trunk...gah!Your ghost hurting Sammy scenes were well done and creepy. I felt so badly for Dean too. To become aware of what he'd done to Sam with the car, then to lose himself again only to once again discover he'd tortured his little brother even more...
Loved the comfort Dean offered at the end, so attentive then pulling away feeling that maybe Sam wouldn't want him close after what he'd done and Sam's graciousness...needing Dean and needing him close and letting Dean know that. Loved both boys seeking comfort in each others' heartbeats.
And the tension with Bobby trying to burn the bones while Sam kept the ghost busy in his brother's body! Intense! Liked the twist that he got the wrong grave. I love Bobby's care of the brothers and enjoyed your humor at the end when Dean questioned Bobby as to what took so long in Dean's own special way!
Very well done. Love the brotherly banter. Dean is sometimes hard to capture when he's afraid, because he tries not to show it. Nice to get inside his head for a change. And, as always, Sam-whumping is delightful... muy bien!
“Wakey, wakey, eggs and bac’y, nap time’s over.” lol. You are so twisted.
Wow, you really beat up Sam good this time. Not since Most Cunning Prey (I hope that was the right title. Your story where Sam's cousin captures and tortures him) do I remember you going after him this badly. Yeah, good times. (Wow, am I sick or what!“Please, Moira,” Sam begged, “You don’t want to do this.“Actually
Sam closed his eyes and let his head drop back down.—I do.
The belt struck. Cue Susan wincing. Damn good writing. Just another of many moments I find myself wishing I could see on film instead of just in my head.
Considering how badly Sam was hurt, I was surprised to find myself uttering, "Poor Dean!" The brothers both know that he wasn't responsible for his actions while being possessed by Moira, especially after the events in Asylum and the season 2 episode where Sam's possessed (can't recall the name). But that doesn't matter when he sees his little brother broken and bleeding, knowing that it was his hands that caused it. Bobby was right, recovery was going to be a bit*h, but they'll get through it. Both of them.
After so much angst, suspense, action, suspense, guilty protectiveness, and suspense, it felt great to end on a laugh. I love Bobby.
Wow, that was a fantastic, suspenseful story. Quick and to the point. And more than a bit inspiring, as I'm bogged down writing a bear of a story that I'm now thinking would be better if I just cut the crap and jumped to the good stuff. So, thanks for the unintentional help!
Sorry for rambling. I just can't help it. One day I'm going to submit a "Good job" review just for kicks. lol
To sum up...awesome! I loved it!
Damn, girl! You just jumped right into the action with a tied up, concussed Sam. Sigh. You know just how to make a girl happy.
First you have the Impala turn into a murderous KATT and try to flatten Sam, now a possessed Dean is using the Impala to kill him. You've got some Impala/Sam issues, my friend. Keep it up.
And you brought Bobby into the story! Always a great move. I really enjoyed the quick intercuts between the Winchesters and Bobby, keeping the pace fast and furious (bad pun not intended).
Stop. Go. Wow, I just love the quick tense pace you've set in this story! It has my heart thumping. And, oh man! When Sam's beautiful face smashed into the trunk of the Impala...wow.
Just when I caught my breath and was enjoying some lovely Protective Dean moments...bam! The bit*h is back!
