Your characters are very well drawn... and it was nice to read a bit more about two of the least followed (in the original story) members of the fellowship.

Lol, those two, you expect them any minute to compare battle scars and outdo each other with stories of how they got them. And at the same time berate each other for being careless in getting those scars, giggle.

I love fill-in-the-blank fic. This was wonderful, and fit right in with canon. I have to say there are few authors who can write Legolas and Gimli like you do, especially their banter, which is frankly a gift to fandom.
